Acropolis at Night from the Orizontes Restaurant

Just the two of us, Mrs. El Abuelo and I, ventured forth into the night for dinner high above the city of Athens at a restaurant located on the Lycabettus Hill. After a long winding cab ride through several neighborhoods, which I think may have been driven more by the driver's interests than our in seeing the neighborhoods, we arrived at the tram station which took us to the top of the hill and the restaurant.http://www.kastelorizo.com.gr/uk/orizodes.html

Our hotel had made our reservation and we had a table for two, candlelit in the cool evening, out on the patio, looking out directly at the Acropolis across the city's twinkling lights some distance to the west. The parthenon is beautifully lit. Get a clear photograph without a tripod is extremely difficult. Sphere: Related Content
