Andy Larsen of Lynchburg, Va and I with our guide Sean Andrews drove about 1 hours south of Tongariro Lodge to a remote farm where Sean had made arrangements for us to fish. It was stalking the fish, a few very very large Brown trout in a crystal clear stream with only soft showers of rain. Up north, nearer the lodge, the rain poured all day.
