Life Boat Update

DAMN!! The government is already deciding who gets saved. Our next door neighbor, a doctor who has served fighting disease and representing the United States all over the world, had a heart attack yesterday as she rested in her home. She is about 92 years old. The ambulance took her to the hospital. I am sad to report that we just checked in on her. In the subsequent 24 hours hours she has been kept in the lobby of the emergency room because the hospital can't find her a bed. No one has brought her food or looked in on her except to perform some breathing tests. Her niece was able to obtain some yogurt from the cafeteria. The doctor is a combo Medicare/Medicaid patient. Where is Lincoln Steffans? The shame! The horror!
