I Agree, But.............

I agree with "The Way Out" which is posted below. But like I said, my optimism is for 8-10 years from now. It will take a lot of political cooperation, both in congress and among all the various interest groups, from the north slopes to the heart of Texas. There are a lot of competing interests that needs to be balanced. Everyone can win. For example, it will be some time before the oil interests realize that they have the source of plastics and many other uses of the dwindling oil supply. It will be a steady income for a long time if it is not burned up as fuel. The natural gas interests will find that they can be used for heating and for vehicle supplemental fuel as we convert over to electrical/solar/nuclear powered transportation. But all this does not happen over night and those whose interests are short term, whose time horizons are limited, who need to retire is immediate, will all be competing for a larger share, I think, than can be allotted them. It is not lost on me that the only age group which voted in favor of McCain, and rather heavily, 55-45, was the seniors over age 65………………… Sphere: Related Content
