We were in Kenya, bouncing along an almost paved road somewhere between Nairobi and Lake Baringo when we saw this sign. The Equator. There was a young fellow there with a funnel to prove that if you walked a few feet one way or the other of the equator, the water drained into a bottle in opposite directions.
