Which Way The Wind Blows

In all pursuits the first principle should be to understand which way the wind is blowing. Sometimes knowing that direction can speed you up and you are off to the races. However, not every wind blows true. There are cross currents, swirling winds, whose direction is influenced by obstacles and patterns that were established long ago. They are often the size of mountains, as I found in Doubtful Sound. Simply by steering the ship into the right location between the high cliffs and subtle corners of the topography, the captain of the ship was able to bring us to absolute silence and all motion ceased. Amazing. What we need to do in business is to undertand the topography, steer into our position and take stock of our situation. Then we can catch the right wind, move in the correct direction and we are off to a long smooth sail. Sphere: Related Content
