Traversing Heavy Water

Just below the fording place, the stream becomes a raging wilderness river. Peter Wilton helped me cross. We locked arms. The best method to do this is to watch where you are placing your feet, allow the guide to determine the directions and don't look at the rapids. All well that ends with a good fish and a fisherman that is still dry!!

I want to thank guide Peter Wilton for helping me across the deep water of the Manganui A O Te River on the North Island. My friend J.W. Blackwell (pen name) took the picture. Sphere: Related Content
