Being a Cat

We have currently two cats; Rascal and Raja. Our third old guy, Rama, obtained from the local shelter a few years ago, died in 2009. Our cats are unconcerned about the price of their food, for which one must shop to obtain a price near 50 cents per can (many grocers try to get more than 60 cents per can). Our cats know exactly how to obtain our attention (they knock stuff off my desk or begin to shred my work papers) and get us to open the door so that they can roam the back yard (there is an electric fence to keep them out of the heavy traffic on the once rural road out front).
